Entrepreneurial women of the Turkish world exhibited their products at KOIDER Bazaar event

Members of business women’s associations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and TRNC opened stands with their products at the Kocaeli Business Women and Managers Association (KOIDER) Bazaar event.

The event, organized at Kocaeli Congress Center with the support of the Metropolitan Municipality and the Federation of Entrepreneurial Businesswomen (GIFED), continues on its second day.

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Buyukakin said in his speech that the primary duty of governments and local governments is to pave the way, create opportunities and facilitate access to opportunities.

Stating that it is seen that the countries that provide opportunities for academia, business world, development and economic development are on the rise, while others are left behind, Buyukakin said, “Based on this logic, in the organization held last year, we said to our KOIDER President, ‘Let’s take this to the international level.’ we said. Today was actually a first for the Turkish world. This will probably encourage others and set an example. New ones will be made. When we achieve this, we also enable you to strengthen your economic relations with the outside world. We also help you realize new opportunities and find new job opportunities in those areas.”

KOIDER President and GIFED International Relations Commission President Nihan Cakici noted that they were proud to break new ground with sustainable innovative projects.

Wishing that the event would set an example, Cakici presented a plaque of appreciation to Buyukakin.

Later, protocol members and participants visited the stands where the products of entrepreneurial women were displayed.

Deputy Governor Ismail Gultekin, AK Party Provincial Chairman Sahin Talus, academics, representatives of political parties and business people attended the event.

Within the scope of the event, sessions on “Export Models in e-commerce” and “Women’s Place in Export in World Countries” will be held today.

Members of Afyonkarahisar Businesswomen Association, Bursa Businesswomen and Managers Association, Izmir Businesswomen Association, Businesswomen Association, Kocaeli Businesswomen and Managers Association, Women Employers and Industrialists Association, Aydin Businesswomen Association and Association for Supporting Entrepreneurial Women are also participating in the organization.

The event, which aims to enable association members to expand their business and market networks and participants to increase their investments in their own fields, will end tomorrow.
