Economists participating in the expectations survey of AA Finans predict that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will increase by 7.3% in the second quarter of 2022.
The expectation survey of AA Finans for the second quarter GDP data of 2022, which will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) on Wednesday, 31 August, resulted in the participation of 16 economists.
THE TURKISH ECONOMY IS EXPECTED TO GROW 7.3% IN THE SECOND QUARTER OF THE YEAR
According to the survey results, economists expect the Turkish economy to grow by 7.3% in the second quarter of this year. The second-quarter growth expectations of the economists surveyed were between 5.0% and 8.2%.
The average of economists’ growth expectations for the whole of 2022 was 4.4%. Economists’ growth expectations for 2022 were 3.5% at the lowest and 5.8% at the highest.
The Turkish economy had grown by 7.3% in the first quarter of 2022.
