AEI Systems, one of the subsidiaries of Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) Group, has become a sponsor of Land Warfare Europe 2025, which will be held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.
According to a company statement, the event will bring together NATO and European defense officials with leading industry decision-makers. SYS Group will be represented at the event by its General Manager, Cahit Utku Aral.
This year’s edition of the event is shaped around the rapid increase in defense spending across Europe following the Russia–Ukraine war, as well as the critical role the Baltic region has assumed in ensuring continental security.
With its integrated defense ecosystem built around the AEI Systems, CANiK and UNIROBOTICS brands, SYS Group will showcase innovative firepower solutions designed to meet the modern land forces requirements of the region.
The group offers comprehensive, modular and ITAR-free solutions for modern armies, including medium-caliber gun systems—most notably the 30×113mm VENOM LR—TRAKON remote-controlled weapon systems, and CANiK’s family of light weapons.
Lithuania has recently become a strategic meeting point for SYS Group. In recent months, UNIROBOTICS participated in a live-fire demo in the country, earning high praise from regional defense authorities for its performance.
Through Land Warfare Europe 2025, SYS Group aims to further build on this success and strengthen its collaboration with Baltic nations.
The World’s Lowest-Recoil 30 mm Gun System
AEI Systems’ highlight at the event will be the 30×113mm VENOM LR, recognized as the world’s lowest-recoil 30 mm gun system.
Featuring adjustable firing rates, high precision capabilities, and ITAR-free status, the VENOM LR can be easily integrated into land, naval and unmanned platforms in very short lead times—making it a direct answer to the need for effective firepower on highly mobile platforms in modern battlefield environments.
SYS Group General Manager Cahit Utku Aral, whose comments were included in the statement, said that defense dynamics have been reshaped following the Russia–Ukraine war.
Aral emphasized that rising defense investments in Europe—particularly in the Baltic region—are creating major opportunities for new partnerships:
“As SYS Group, with our CANiK, AEI Systems and UNIROBOTICS companies, we offer modular, reliable and ITAR-free solutions that modern armies require. With our production infrastructure in Türkiye and the United Kingdom, we are proud to contribute to the defense capabilities of allied nations. Through the integration engineering capabilities, modular weapon solutions and operational efficiency technologies we will present during Land Warfare Europe 2025, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting strong and sustainable defense partnerships in the Baltic region.”
