“Our workers, our industrialists, our region are working. At the beginning of 2023, we experienced the biggest earthquake in our country’s history. In the next period, we did whatever we could for recovery with the industrialists of our region. When we compare the days without holidays, we see that we caught our export figures last year. As we mentioned before, our primary goal this year is to achieve the performance we had last year. Our region’s exports in the January-June period reached $5.3 billion. The region’s exports in June amounted to $884.1 million.”

Kileci emphasized that the region made the most of its exports to the Middle East, Europe and Africa during this period.
