Within the scope of the Mediterranean Furniture, Paper and Forest Products Exporters’ Association (AKAMIB), exports of $284 million 569 thousand were made in the January-April period.
According to AKAMIB’s statement, the union’s exports in April were recorded as $58 million 198 thousand.
While furniture, paper and forest products amounting to $2 billion 518 million 152 thousand were exported throughout the country in January-April, with a decrease of 2.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, AKAMIB’s exports reached $284 million 569 thousand with an increase of 4.2%.
During the said period, the most exports within the union were made to Iraq, Germany and France.
