“High immigration, housing stock, and affordable prices highlighted Esenyurt”

Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Istanbul Chamber of Realtors Chairman Nizameddin Asa said that there are too many new construction projects in Esenyurt, the most populous district in Turkey and that the district receives a lot of migration.

Asa said, “The opportunity to find affordable housing in Esenyurt is also very high. The district located between E-5 and TEM Highway is also easy to reach.”

Stating that there are all types of houses from 1+1 to 4+1 in Esenyurt, Asa reminded that the district is an alternative for those who want to live alone and as a family.

“2020 has been a productive year for housing sales in Anatolia”

FuzulEv Chairman Eyup Akbal stated that 2020 was very productive especially in terms of housing sales in Anatolia and that districts from Ankara, Konya, Antalya, Eskisehir, Kayseri, Bursa, and Gaziantep found their place at the top of the list.

Stating that they observed 2-3 times increases in some Anatolian districts last year, Akbal said, “This situation is actually a reaction in the society if the interest cost is minimized.”

Akbal stated that the interest-free housing system based on savings also contributed significantly to the increase in sales in Anatolia and made the following explanations:

“Currently, there are more than 250 thousand people in the interest-free housing system based on savings. The 15% share of the system in the total housing market is the best manifestation of the desire to buy a “no-cost” house. I think the share in the market will increase as interest costs will be higher in 2021 compared to 2020. I can also say that we will turn into a dominant model in the market, especially with state assurance.”
