Turan opened to the markets of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, TRNC and Uzbekistan

Local fintech startup Turan announced that it allows money transfer from Turkiye to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, TRNC and Uzbekistan without any commission fees.

Turan, which brought the money transfer process between Central Asia and especially the Turkish States to the digital world, made its first country expansion with Azerbaijan in February.

Turan, which facilitates many financial transactions for Turkish compatriots residing in Turkiye, continues to digitalize the money transfer process of compatriots to their own country.

The company, which increased its international money transfer volume to millions of liras in a short time after its Azerbaijan expansion, added other Turkish States to its digital money transfer network. As of today, Turan users can transfer money to all banks in Azerbaijan within seconds, as well as commission-free money transfers to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, TRNC and Uzbekistan. Thus, Turan completed another major process in the name of the money transfer corridor mission he was trying to create between the Turkish States.

Transferring money from Turkiye to Turkish States has never been this cost-effective, fast and easy.

Speaking about Turan’s Turkish States initiative, Turan Founder Ozgur Bayraktar said;

“We had only one motivation on the road we set out with Turan in line with Gaspirali Ismail’s mission of unity in language, thought and work; To increase the financial opportunities of our compatriots living in our country within Turkiye and to make the process of transferring money to their own countries no different from transferring money to Europe. Now we are happy to realize this dream. Turan has now become the only financial application that can offer solutions to all the needs of our Azerbaijani Turks, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz, Turkish Cypriots and Uzbeks living in Turkiye in their own languages. In this process, we entered into a comprehensive integration process with Payporter as well as with our business partner United Payment.”

In addition, the company, which plans to offer an Azerbaijani-specific wallet to all users living in Azerbaijan in 2024, announced that it has started working to enable zero-cost wallet-to-wallet money transfer between Turkiye and Azerbaijan.
