Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, in its 6th year, organizes the Chip Design Competition, which is among the festival’s high-winning competitions, for the second time.
According to the statement made by TEKNOFEST, the Chip Design Competition, which participated in the TEKNOFEST technology competitions, which hundreds of thousands of young people apply every year, in 2022, aims to increase the interest of students in micro-electronic technologies and improve their abilities in this field.
Associate, undergraduate and graduate students can participate in the competition organized by TUBITAK BILGEM and YONGATEK individually or in teams of up to 5 people.
Within the scope of the Chip Design Competition organized under 3 different categories, “Digital Processor Design”, “Analog Design” and “Digital Image Processing Design”, 2 reports, a preliminary design report and a detail design report, from the teams, a project demo where they will introduce their projects, and a final presentation are expected. The competition will also pave the way for the domestic chip technologies of the future to come out of Turkiye on the way to the National Technology Move.
In the competition, where applications continue until November 20, 2022, the winners of all 3 categories will be awarded ₺100 thousand, the second prize will be ₺80 thousand, and the third will be awarded ₺60 thousand.

TEKNOFEST, which will be held in Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul on the 100th anniversary of the Republic, triples its enthusiasm. TEKNOFEST technology competitions, where more competition categories are opened every year compared to the previous year and which are the biggest award-winning technology competitions in the history of Turkiye, will be held in 41 main competitions and 102 sub-categories in 2023.
Applications to participate in competitions at TEKNOFEST will be made through the website.
The deadline for the TEKNOFEST 2023 technology competitions, where more than ₺13 million of awards and over ₺30 million of material support will be given, has been determined as 20 November 2022.
