Top-drawer technology and aviation event drew more than 2.5M people at Istanbul Ataturk airport
Turkiye’s premier technology and aviation event TEKNOFEST on Wednesday released its Full Independent Turkish Anthem clip on social media.
The anthem was performed for the first time at the latest TEKNOFEST Istanbul,which took place from April 27 to May 1 at Istanbul Ataturk Airport and drew a crowd of 2.54 million.
“Will we ever give up on a fully independent Turkiye? We shall witness TEKNOFESTs and come as millions with our legendary love, our lost love, we will achieve victories shoulder to shoulder with the youth, Kizilelma (unmanned air vehicle) in the sky, Anadolu (amphibious assault ship) in the waters, Togg (national car) hits the roads,” say the song’s lyrics, translated.
“Now it’s your turn, we grew up with TEKNOFEST, we walked to the sky, we watched your joy, now it’s your turn, envision it together, totally independent Turkiye is here,” says the song.
This year, over 1 million competitors applied to compete in TEKNOFEST contests.
The five-day event was organized by the T3 Foundation and the Turkish Industry and Technology Ministry.
It featured air shows, workshops, competitions, and exhibits for cutting-edge technology and defense products.
The second edition of TEKNOFEST 2023 will be held in the Turkish capital Ankara from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3.
