Turkiye’s leading platform in the field of banking products comparison and application, HangiKredi evaluated the year 2022 and announced its expectations for 2023.
Indicating that they received 240 million traffic to the HangiKredi website in 2022, Oray Durmazoglu, the General Manager of HangiKredi, said, “We launched the HangiKredi Financial Report during the year and 300 thousand customers benefited from this report. Again in 2022, we brought together 420 thousand consumer loans with our customers. A loan volume of ₺8.4 billion was realized through HangiKredi. By bringing our customers together with banks and interest rates that suit their needs, we enabled them to repay ₺1 billion less loans. We made 370 thousand sales in the credit card category, which is our second largest category. The volume of our deposit category reached ₺11.2 billion. We have enabled our customers to earn more than ₺220 million in return.”
Noting that 15% of the total volume of banks’ remote customer acquisition is provided through the HangiKredi channel, Durmazoglu said that they have reached a 5% market share in the total banking sector customer acquisition, including physical channels.

Stating that they increased their media investments this year, Durmazoglu said: “We became the name and shirt chest sponsor of Umraniyespor, which made it to the Spor Toto Super League. This sponsorship was a critical step for HangiKredi’s brand awareness and contributed greatly to our media visibility.”
Oray Durmazoglu, emphasizing the importance they attach to technology and human resources, continued his words as follows: “While HangiKredi grew, our team continued to expand. Our team, which was 80 people in 2021, now consists of 140 people. We won the Great Place to Work certificate with our young, dynamic, harmonious team and people-oriented corporate culture. Our human resources, especially on the technology side, are growing day by day in order to implement our products on the way to becoming financial assistants. This year, we became an R&D Center with our increasing technology investment.”
Stating that they provided 40 million loan applications in total in 2022, Oray Durmazoglu noted that in 2023 they have plans to move their current business model beyond offering banking products comparison and application services. Underlining that they plan all activities under the vision of being the customer’s financial assistant, Durmazoglu stated that they will invest in the mobile application next year and offer new services such as open banking, electronic money and payment systems.
