The best-selling automotive brands in the Turkish automobile market have been announced

In the Turkish automobile and light commercial vehicle market, the brands with the highest sales last month were Fiat, Renault and Ford, respectively.

According to the Automotive Distributors Association (ODD) data, in June this year, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market increased by 1% compared to June 2021 and reached 80,652.

In June, automobile sales increased by 2.9% compared to the same month of the previous year and became 64 thousand 134 units, while light commercial vehicle sales decreased by 5.5% to 16 thousand 518.

The automobile and light commercial vehicle market expanded by 13.4% compared to the 10-year average sales in June, and the automobile market expanded by 14.9% compared to the 10-year average sales in June. And light commercial vehicle market expanded by 7.9% compared to the 10-year average sales in June.

Top 5 brands in the total market

According to the information compiled from the ODD report, Fiat took the first place with 17,871 units in total sales, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. This was followed by Renault with 12,438 sales and Ford with 6,640 sales.

Volkswagen was fourth with 6,106 sales and Hyundai was fifth with 4,128 sales.

Fiat was the brand that sold the most automobiles in June with 13,601. Renault followed with 11,336 sales and VW with 5,584 sales.

Hyundai is in fourth place with 3,608 sales, while Opel is in fifth place with 3,574 automobile sales.

Luxury and sports car sales

In the list, which includes 44 brands in automobile sales, sales were made from all brands except Lamborghini and Smart last month.

In June, 67 Lexus, 30 Porsche, 11 Jaguar, 11 Maserati, 2 Ferrari, 2 Aston Martin and 1 Bentley were sold.

Top 5 of light commercial vehicle segment

Looking at the light commercial vehicle segment, Ford ranked first in the list with 5,824 sales in June.

Ford was followed by Fiat with 4,270 sales and Renault with 1,102 sales.

Peugeot was fourth with 944 sales and Citroen was fifth with 670 sales.
