The most preferred color among the cars registered to the traffic in Turkiye last year was “white”.
According to the information compiled from the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the number of vehicles registered to traffic increased by 10.1% compared to the previous year and reached 1 million 269 thousand 912. 566 thousand 280 of these vehicles were registered as automobiles.
Looking at the distribution of the registered cars by brands in the said period, it was seen that Fiat was the most preferred. During this period, 86 thousand 594 Fiat brand cars were registered to the traffic. This brand was followed by Renault with 80 thousand 267, Volkswagen with 48 thousand 529 and Hyundai with 40 thousand 515.
Renault stood out when we looked at the car brands that registered the most in traffic in the last 5 years. In the last 5 years, a total of 399 thousand 260 cars from this brand have been registered to the traffic. In this period, it was calculated that 350 thousand 528 cars with Fiat brand, 254 thousand 483 cars with Volkswagen brands and 175 thousand 966 cars with Toyota brands were registered to the traffic.
The most preferred color is white.
When the colors of the cars registered to the traffic were examined, it was seen that white was the most preferred.
Last year, 223 thousand 999 white cars were registered to the traffic. This was followed by gray with 163 thousand120, blue with 64 thousand 107, black with 43 thousand 669 and red with 40 thousand 683. During this period, it was observed that 2 pink and 9 violet colored cars were registered to the traffic.
