The first Financial Stability Committee meeting of this year was held

Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati said, “At the meeting, we discussed global and local expectations and policy steps regarding the banking, capital markets and insurance sectors for 2023.”

Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati stated that they held the first Financial Stability Committee meeting of 2023.

In his post on his Twitter account, Nebati said, “We held the first Financial Stability Committee meeting of 2023. At the meeting, which started with the evaluation of developments in 2022, we discussed global and local expectations and policy steps for the banking, capital markets and insurance sectors for 2023.”

On the other hand, a statement was made on the Ministry’s Twitter account.

In the statement, it was noted that with the economy program implemented for about a year, financial resources were used effectively and significant successes were achieved in the fields of investment, employment, production and export.

“For the continuation of these successes, it is important to deepen the financial system and maintain the confidence in the markets. In this context, it has been agreed that all our institutions will continue their surveillance and audit activities in order to protect the rights of our citizens and free market conditions. The Financial Stability Committee will continue to work in a holistic and coordinated manner for the protection of financial stability.”
