Hakki Alkan bought 25% of free office PODA

Hardware and software platform PODA, which enables areas such as work cabins and meeting rooms to be reserved for short-term working needs, received investment from Hakki Alkan.

Hakki Alkan, who has recently focused on initiatives in the fields of sustainability, games, artificial intelligence, and community management, and founded Co-Founder.Work at the beginning of this year, invested in PODA, a domestic enterprise serving the sharing economy, and became a partner in 25% of it. This tour was Alkan’s second investment.

Mobile solution for short meetings: PODA

We can define PODA, the free office, founded by Cemal Akar, Oguz Onel, Levent Burcin Sozutok and Oytun Tufekciler, as a new generation work cabin designed to allow working anywhere with its desk, chair, high-speed internet connection, air conditioning and sound insulation features.

The cabins offered by PODA provide a high level of flexibility in terms of working environment and location. Poda, which provides a special and focused workspace for people in a shopping mall, cafe or airport, offers the working models of the future in Turkiye.

While PODA makes it possible for individuals to work efficiently from anywhere they want, it also fully meets the expectations in terms of hygiene and comfort. The number of PODAs, which are equipped with new technologies, provide air and environment sterilization with UV-C, air conditioning and high-speed unlimited internet, is increasing.

Designing minimalist, sustainable, easy-to-use products and services, PODA’s mobile application, which has been downloaded a total of 126 thousand times and is in use on Android and iOS platforms, has an active reservation system and a credit card payment infrastructure.

Serving its guests with 27 cabins in 10 different locations, including Emaar Square AVM, Akasya AVM, 42 Maslak, Kanyon AVM, Zorlu Center AVM, Trump AVM, American Hospital, Gloria Jean’s Coffee – Cennet, Esenboga Airport, and CoBodrum – Bodrum, PODA has more than 10 thousand members.

With the investment of Hakki Alkan, the founder of the co-working space Co-Founder.Work, PODA aims to increase the number of locations and cabins, and plans to introduce more people and business partners to this experience.
