The new aircraft model of Piaggio Aerospace, acquired by Baykar, has been revealed

Piaggio Aerospace, which was purchased by Baykar, announced its new brand identity and introduced the Avanti NX (Next) model. According to a statement from the company, the launch event showcased not only the latest evolution of the P.180 Avanti model but also the company’s renewed vision.

Avanti NX represents more than just the next generation of the P.180 Avanti; it symbolizes a fundamental transformation in the company’s customer service and support approach. During the launch event, it was emphasized that these principles form the cornerstone of the company’s new era. The event began with a speech by Haluk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Piaggio Aerospace and General Manager of Baykar. Alberto Caruso, Baykar Group Design and Brand Director, who previously worked at Lamborghini and Lilium Jet, presented the new logo and brand identity. Giovanni Tomassini, CEO of Piaggio Aerospace, shared the company’s future strategy and vision.

In his speech, Haluk Bayraktar stated that they bear the responsibility of honoring the past by having the courage to change and turning this transformation into renewed success. Bayraktar said, “The future of Piaggio Aerospace will not be shaped by circumstances, but by us — by each of you — with our hands, our minds, and our determination. Starting today, we are building this future together. A new chapter for Piaggio Aerospace begins now.”

Giovanni Tomassini said, “Avanti Next is not just a new version of our P.180 aircraft — it is much more than that. This is the next chapter of Piaggio Aerospace. It represents the next step in working together, innovating, and valuing the people who fly, maintain, and support our aircraft every day. Every element of Avanti Next reflects our belief in the future of Piaggio Aerospace.”

The launch also introduced a new corporate website designed to reflect the spirit of Avanti NX, as well as a new clothing collection prepared for employees. The event concluded with Turkish tea and Turkish delight being served to all employees as a symbol of the partnership with Baykar. In addition, gift boxes containing Piaggio-branded products were presented to employees.
