The new legal expert practice started in Istanbul and Antalya

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey started the practice of legal expert in housing and vehicle fraud, which is often the subject of lawsuits, and launched the new system as a pilot in Ankara. It has been reported that the legal expert practice within the framework of the expert system will be implemented in Istanbul and Antalya from now on. The new practice has many advantages.

The practice of legal expert, which has gained importance especially in housing and vehicle fraud, which was used as a pilot in Ankara, is also starting in Istanbul and Antalya. In such fraud cases brought to the courts, legal experts will also be added to the court lists, and the judge will be able to appoint not only individual experts but also legal experts to the file. Thus, the judge will be able to make their decision based on the reports prepared by these experts.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Justice, it was stated that the legal expert practice contributed to the effective, efficient and regular functioning of the expert witness system without delay.

SUCCESSFULLY EXECUTED SINCE 21 DECEMBER 2020

Within the scope of the Human Rights Action Plan, it was stated that the efforts to increase the efficiency of the expertise institution, which is applied for the issues that require expertise, are continuing, and it has been reported that the pilot practice in the Ankara Courthouse and Ankara West Courthouse Enforcement Directorates regarding the ability of private law legal entities to act as experts has been carried out successfully since 21 December 2020.

LEGAL EXPERT PRACTICE STARTS IN ISTANBUL AND ANTALYA

First of all, it was noted that the pilot practice initiated in Ankara in the field of real estate valuation will also be implemented in Istanbul Anatolian and Antalya enforcement offices. In the statement, it was stated that the loss of time and effort was ended by determining the discovery dates of the practice and making the coordination with only one official during the preparation of the report.

In the statement, it was explained that the reports could be prepared in a timely manner by experts working within the body of legal person experts, and the transaction process was carried out quickly and without delay.

In the statement, it was also stated that the pilot practice also minimized the problems arising from erroneous and delayed expert reports, thus contributing to the effective, efficient and regular functioning of the expert witness system without delay.
