In the ranking of the countries sending the most visitors to Turkiye, Germany ranked first with 2 million 992 thousand 551 people and an increase of 137.36% compared to the same period of the previous year, and the Russian Federation took the second place with an increase of 41.36% and 2 million 197 thousand 331 people, England (United Kingdom) ranked third with an increase of 2036.01% and 1 million 810 thousand 248 people.
England was followed by Bulgaria and Iran, respectively.
According to the data released by TURKSTAT, a total of 26 million 195 thousand 747 visitors were hosted, together with 3 million 165 thousand 538 foreign citizens who came to Turkiye.
July increase was 52.84%
In July of this year, Turkiye hosted 6 million 665 thousand 129 foreign visitors with an increase of 52.84% compared to the same month of the previous year.
In the ranking of the countries sending the most visitors, Germany was the first with 962 thousand 3 people, the Russian Federation was the second with 741 thousand 419 people, and the UK was the third with 545 thousand 973 people. England was followed by the Netherlands and Bulgaria.
