Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya stated in his post on his Twitter account that 1 million 607 thousand 45 foreign tourists came to the city in September, according to the Istanbul Tourism Statistics Report.
Stating that the number of foreign tourists coming to the city increased by 102% in the 9 months of this year and reached 11 million 787 thousand 834, Yerlikaya noted that the most tourists came to Istanbul from Russia, Germany, Iran, USA and England, respectively.
