According to the information compiled from the data of the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, 2 million 622 thousand 796 tourists visited Mugla in the 9-month period of the year.
The most visited countries were England with 1 million 129 thousand 603 tourists, Russia with 311 thousand 261 tourists, Germany with 187 thousand 479 tourists, Poland with 157 thousand 395 tourists, and the Netherlands with 92 thousand 914 tourists. 744 thousand 144 tourists from other countries came to the city.

In the same period of last year, 908 thousand 448 people visited Mugla.
Last year, when COVID-19 measures were implemented, 1 million 83 thousand 589 and 695 thousand 314 tourists came to Mugla in 2020.
In 2019, before the epidemic, 3 million 256 thousand 650 tourists visited the holiday resorts in the city. More than half of the visitors in these years were again British tourists.
