According to the data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the total number of vehicles registered to traffic in Turkey was 25 million 188 thousand 967 as of the end of November.

According to the data, as of the end of November, 54.3% of the registered vehicles are automobiles, 16.3% are pickup trucks, 14.8% are motorcycles, tractors accounted for 8.0%, trucks 3.5%, minibuses 2.0%, buses 0.8% and special purpose vehicles 0.3%.

1 MILLION 135 THOUSAND 228 VEHICLES TRANSFERRED

In November, 1 million 135 thousand 228 vehicles were transferred. Of the transferred vehicles, 71.7% were automobiles, 15.8% were pick-up trucks, 4.8% were motorcycles, 3.6% were tractors, 1.9% were trucks, and 1.6% were minibuses. Buses accounted for 0.5% and special purpose vehicles 0.1%. On the other hand, 43 thousand 837 cars were registered to the traffic in November.

1 MILLION 49 THOUSAND 833 VEHICLES INCREASE

In the January-November period, the number of vehicles registered to traffic increased by 14.1% compared to the same period of the previous year, and became 1 million 87 thousand 603 vehicles, while the number of vehicles deregistered from traffic decreased by 11.1% to 37 thousand 770. Thus, in the January-November period, the total number of vehicles in traffic increased by 1 million 49 thousand 833 units.

61.9% IS GASOLINE POWERED

It was learned that 61.9% of the 584 thousand 479 cars registered to the traffic in the January-November period were gasoline, 23.8% diesel, 9.1% electric or hybrid, and 5.2% LPG fueled. As of the end of November, 37.7% of the 13 million 676 thousand 615 cars registered to the traffic were diesel fuel, 36.0% LPG, 25.5% gasoline, 0.7% electric or hybrid.
