Three new agreements from Turkish Technic to increase its sectoral competitive power

One of the most important companies in the aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector on a global scale, Turkish Airlines (THY) Teknik Inc. continues to increase its sectoral competitive power with its ever-expanding customer portfolio. Turkish Technic Inc. signed 3 new maintenance agreements at the ‘MRO Middle East 2022 Fair’ held in Dubai on February 22-23 and attended by many companies from the aviation industry.

Having signed an agreement with the Dubai-based flydubai company, which has been serving in various types of maintenance since 2019, covering the ‘C’ maintenance of 2 Boeing 737NG aircraft, the company also signed an agreement with Kuwait-based airline Jazeera Airways for the C maintenance of 3 Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Turkish Technic Inc. also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Swiss-based company AMROS Global for the C maintenance of 2 Airbus A330 aircraft.

WE EXPAND THE GEOGRAPHY WE SERVE

Turkish Technic Inc. General Manager Mikail Akbulut stated that they are expanding the geography they serve by improving their capabilities day by day and said, “I think that our maintenance activities, which we carry out without compromising maintenance safety and customer satisfaction, are the most important factors in our customers’ preference for us.

The fact that flydubai and Jazeera Airways, with whom we have been working together on different projects for a while, entrusted new aircraft to our company is an indication of our service quality and the trust placed in us. I hope that the agreement we signed with AMROS Global will be the first step of a long-term cooperation.”

WHAT IS C MAINTENANCE?

In line with the rules determined by the aviation authorities, C maintenances, which must be applied every 18 to 24 months, are among the base maintenance activities that include the functional and operational controls of all aircraft systems, their modifications, the controls of components and parts, and their replacement when necessary.
