Turkish Airlines (THY) was awarded the “airline company carrying the highest number of passengers” in Georgia in 2021.
The seventh of the tourism awards ceremony, called “Welcome To Georgia”, was held in the capital Tbilisi. Rustavi 2 television channel operating in Georgia broadcasted the ceremony live.
Making a speech in the program, Georgia Airports Administration Manager Tamar Archvadze stated that Turkish Airlines is the company that carries the highest number of passengers in Georgia in 2021.
Archvadze presented the “airline company carrying the highest number of passengers” award to Turkish Airlines Georgia Manager Serafettin Ekici, who participated in the program.
Ekici, in his speech of thanks, emphasized that certain difficulties were experienced in 2021 due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, but despite this, they continued to operate successfully as THY.
Noting that as THY, they will always continue to provide quality service to passengers and transport them to their destinations, Ekici thanked those who contributed to the organization of the program and expressed that he presented this award to the THY Georgia team.
