THY Technic Inc. started to provide aircraft maintenance services to Emirates Airlines

An aircraft maintenance contract was signed between THY Technic Inc. and Emirates, the United Arab Emirates-based airline company with the world’s largest Boeing 777 fleet.

An aircraft maintenance contract was signed between Turkish Airlines’ (THY) aircraft maintenance company, THY Technic Inc., and Emirates, the United Arab Emirates-based airline company with the world’s largest Boeing 777 fleet.

According to the statement made by the THY Press Office, in line with the agreement, THY Technic Inc will provide base maintenance services to 5 Boeing 777 aircraft in Emirates’ fleet.

As of April 1, the maintenance of the first aircraft under the agreement will begin at the Atatürk Airport Facilities of THY Technic Inc., while the maintenance operations of the other aircraft will be carried out in the future.

In the statement, THY Technic Inc. General Manager Mikail Akbulut, who gave his views on the new maintenance agreement, said:

“Emirates Airlines’ entrusting the base maintenance operations of its Boeing 777 aircraft to us is an indication of Emirates’ trust in our company. We have become one of the most important service providers in the aircraft and component maintenance-repair industry with the high quality and reliable service concept we offer for our customers. While working in line with this vision, we set bigger goals and add new collaborations to our success. We believe that our agreement with Emirates is the beginning of a long-term partnership.”
