THY will request PCR test after 6 September

Turkish Airlines (THY) made an announcement regarding the PCR test requirement, which will begin on intercity travel as of September 6. THY General Manager Bilal Eksi shared the circular sent by the Ministry of Interior in his social media account, “After September 6, the vaccine and PCR test application to be applied on domestic routes will be implemented in accordance with the Ministry of Interior circular, and all airlines, buses and railways will be subject to the same application within the scope of the current circular.” With the circular issued by the Ministry of Interior last week, the participation of people who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus in activities such as concerts, cinemas and theaters has been made mandatory for PCR testing with negative results. PCR was also required for intercity travels by plane, bus, train or other public transportation vehicles of people who did not have coronavirus and were not vaccinated within the specified periods.
