TMSF’s $416.5 Million Sale Published in Official Gazette

ANKARA, June 11, 2026 — A major asset sale conducted by Türkiye’s Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), valued at $416.5 million, has been officially published in the Official Gazette, formalizing one of the institution’s largest recent transactions.

The publication in the Official Gazette marks the completion of the legal and administrative process required for the transfer of ownership and confirms the transaction’s official status under Turkish regulations. The sale forms part of TMSF’s ongoing efforts to manage, liquidate, and maximize the value of assets under its administration.

TMSF, which was established to protect depositors and oversee the resolution of troubled financial institutions, has frequently conducted large-scale sales of corporate assets, real estate holdings, and commercial enterprises through public tenders and auctions. Proceeds from such transactions are typically used in accordance with the fund’s mandate to recover value and support resolution processes.

According to the Official Gazette announcement, the transaction involves assets with a total consideration of $416.5 million, making it one of the most significant sales recorded by the institution in recent years. The publication provides legal certainty for the transfer and enables the next stages of implementation and ownership registration.

Market observers note that large-scale TMSF transactions continue to attract strong investor interest, particularly in sectors where strategic assets and established businesses are offered through competitive bidding processes. Such sales are often viewed as indicators of investor confidence in Türkiye’s long-term economic potential.

The Official Gazette publication means the transaction has now entered its final legal phase, allowing the relevant parties to proceed with the transfer process and associated regulatory approvals.
