According to the written statement made by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mass Housing Administration (TOKI), 38,532 people benefited from the “25% discount for those who pay their debt early” campaign.
TOKI organized a discount campaign between September 23 and October 19, 2022 for home and business owners. In the written statement made by TOKI regarding the discount campaign, “Citizens showed great interest in the discount campaign for the owners of residences and workplaces whose sales were made before 30 June 2021 and whose repayment installments started before 30 June 2021 at the latest. While 26,306 residential and business buyers were injured in the previous period, 38,532 people benefited from the campaign in this period. Within the scope of the campaign, 35,257 people who paid off all their debts were entitled to receive their title deeds.”
3.275 PEOPLE BENEFITED FROM FLEXIBLE PAYMENT
A flexible payment plan has been made for residential and business buyers who cannot close their entire debt balance from the discount campaign. Provided that not less than 25% of the debt balance, 3,275 residential and business buyers who participated in the campaign benefited from a 25% discount with their payments. Thus, 35,257 of the 38,532 house and workplace buyers who participated in the campaign paid off all their debts, and 3.275 people paid off a certain part of their debt.
LAND BUYERS ALSO BENEFITED FROM THE CAMPAIGN
In the continuation of the written statement, in which it was shared that 12.5% discount was provided on the debts of the land buyers within the scope of the campaign, “The discount campaign, which started on September 23, 2022 for the land whose sales were realized until the end of 2021 and whose installments started as of the end of 2021, ended as of October 14, 2022. 55 land buyers benefited from the land discount campaign.”
