The oil exploration license period of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) for its fields in Diyarbakir and Mardin has been extended for two years.
The decision of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs, regarding the petroleum right was published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, it was decided to extend the duration of the oil exploration license with an area of 61,268 hectares in Diyarbakir and Mardin for 2 years until April 18, 2025.
