Trendyol Brings Together Industry Professionals at AI Summit

ISTANBUL (AA) – The Technology Community of Trendyol brought together Trendyol engineers and industry professionals at the “Artificial Intelligence–Machine Learning Summit.”

According to a company statement, the summit, held at the Trendyol Campus, showcased a range of innovations—from autonomous artificial intelligence (AI Agent) technologies, described as the most advanced stage of modern AI, to a domestically developed large language model (LLM) created by Trendyol engineers.

Developed through seven versions released over approximately two years, the “Trendyol LLM” enables sellers to generate product descriptions in dozens of languages and instantly translate customer inquiries. With the capacity to handle more than 60 million requests per day, the model plays an active role in various stages of e-commerce, from search results to customer support processes.

Trendyol’s “AI Agent Platform” (Trendyol AI Agent) is used across a wide range of applications, including product recommendation systems, search engine solutions, and the technical architecture of its machine learning (ML) platform.

Over the past six months, more than 4,000 software tasks have been autonomously developed and deployed to live environments through AI agents. The company’s autonomous systems generate more than 500 million automated predictions and decisions daily, managing the digital processes of customers and business partners end-to-end.

Artificial intelligence applications also play a key role in the company’s e-export strategy. Thanks to AI-based matching algorithms, product listing processes for sellers expanding into international markets have accelerated by 60%. This has enabled domestic manufacturers and SMEs to bring their products to global markets more quickly. Additionally, a 20% efficiency increase in logistics processes has improved delivery speeds.

“AI Has Created Leverage in E-Exports”

In the statement, Trendyol Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Cenk Çivici emphasized that artificial intelligence has been placed at the center of the company’s operations, noting that it not only digitalizes processes but also boosts the speed and competitiveness of domestic manufacturers and SMEs in global markets.

Çivici stated that the 60% increase in product onboarding speed achieved through AI serves as a technological lever, enabling local sellers to act more agilely on the global stage.

“Delivery time in software development processes has accelerated ninefold. We are pleased to share our learnings in this field with our entire ecosystem through this event,” he said.
