TROY Card Usage at Türkiye Finans Increases Fivefold

Türkiye Finans has increased the transaction volume of the domestic payment system TROY by fivefold in the first nine months of 2025, while TROY’s share in the bank’s total credit card portfolio rose to 30%, up from 14% at the end of last year.

According to a statement from the bank, Türkiye Finans continues to focus on sustainable growth and innovation in its card strategy. In addition to offering a portfolio compatible with international payment systems, the bank supports the expansion of domestic solutions that strengthen Turkey’s payment infrastructure.

TROY, which keeps card-related fees and commissions within Türkiye and contributes to the national economy, has been gaining a growing share in Türkiye Finans’ credit card portfolio.

In the first nine months of this year, the bank’s TROY credit card volume increased fivefold compared to the end of last year, and TROY-branded cards reached a 30% share of its overall credit card portfolio.

Melis Tosun Arslan, Executive Vice President of Digital Banking at Türkiye Finans, said TROY represents an important success story for Turkey’s financial technology ecosystem.

She emphasized that TROY provides Turkey with its own payment system, supporting financial independence:
“TROY is one of the strongest representatives of local and national technology in the financial sector. Through our cooperation, we enable our customers to benefit from the advantages offered by our TROY-branded cards, in line with our participation finance principles.”

Arslan added that Türkiye Finans will continue investing in domestic financial technologies, expanding alternative payment options for customers, and contributing to the Turkish economy:
“With our support for Turkey’s payment system TROY, we will continue to grow, invest in local financial technologies, and offer innovative solutions to our customers.”
