Türk Telekom has announced that the grant evaluation phase has begun in its “Dijitalde Hayat Kolay” (Life is Easy in Digital) project, which aims to strengthen women entrepreneurs within the digital ecosystem.
According to a company statement, Türk Telekom continues to implement its “Türkiye’ye Değer” (Value for Türkiye) initiatives with a vision of transforming technology into social benefit through human-focused solutions.
Launched in collaboration with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Habitat Association, the Dijitalde Hayat Kolay project provides women with opportunities to establish their own businesses and grow in the digital world.
Within the scope of the project, which aims to reach 15,000 women across all 81 provinces by the end of the year, 40 selected women entrepreneurs aged 18 and above—who had previously completed digital marketing training and design-thinking workshops—received a two-week mentorship program.
During this phase, participants received hands-on training on identifying the right target audience for their products or services, creating appropriate visual and written content, conducting competitor analysis, evaluating successful and unsuccessful case studies, building online advertising campaigns, navigating marketplace entry processes, pricing strategies, sales channels, and budget management.
As part of the 2025 program, the company has now transitioned from the mentorship phase to the grant evaluation period. Twenty women entrepreneurs—selected by a jury from among participants who completed the mentorship—will receive a total of 2 million TL in business development grants.
Since 2019, the Dijitalde Hayat Kolay project has reached 40,000 women entrepreneurs who either have limited access to technology or need support entering the digital world.
“We Provide Both Training and Guidance for Women”
Türk Telekom Corporate Communications Director Arif Sancaktaroğlu, whose comments were included in the statement, said the company is leading Türkiye’s digital transformation and believes in the transformative power of technology for social development.
“Through our Türkiye’ye Değer initiatives, empowering women in the digital ecosystem remains one of our top priorities,” Sancaktaroğlu noted.
He added that since 2019, the project has been providing thousands of women entrepreneurs with both training and guidance to enhance their digital skills, grow their brands, and carry their businesses into the future.
Sancaktaroğlu continued:
“As we celebrate Women Entrepreneurs Day, we hope that the project’s grant program will open new doors for women to write their own success stories in the digital world. By helping more women turn their dreams into reality, we will continue contributing to our country’s future.”
