Turkcell Completes $538.7 Million Sale of Lifecell to France’s DVL Telecom

Turkish telecom giant Turkcell has finalized the sale of its Ukrainian subsidiaries, including Lifecell LLC, LLC Global Bilgi, and LLC Ukrtower, to DVL Telecom, part of the French NJJ Holding Group. The transaction was completed for a total value of $538.7 million, covering all associated rights and liabilities.

The company confirmed the deal in a public disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). In the announcement, Turkcell reiterated that it had transferred 100% of its shares in the three Ukrainian subsidiaries to DVL Telecom, marking a significant step in the company’s portfolio optimization strategy.

Final Price Adjustment Based on Financials

Regarding the sale price, Turkcell stated:

“Based on the financials prepared as of the closing date, and following adjustments including cash and debt positions, the final transaction amount has been determined as $538.7 million.”

The divestment aligns with Turkcell’s broader strategic objectives of streamlining operations and focusing on core markets.
