Turkcell Reports TL 5.2 Billion Net Profit in Second Quarter

Turkcell reported a TL 5.2 billion net profit in the second quarter of 2026, while consolidated revenues increased 2.5% year-on-year to TL 71.8 billion, according to the company’s financial results.

EBITDA Reaches TL 30 Billion

Turkcell’s consolidated EBITDA reached TL 30.0 billion, with an EBITDA margin of 41.8%.

The company’s second-quarter net profit was approximately 5.7% lower than the TL 5.55 billion recorded in the same period last year. However, the result was significantly above market expectations of around TL 3.8 billion.

Mobile Subscriber Base Surpasses 40 Million

The second quarter also marked a milestone for Turkcell, as its total mobile subscriber base exceeded 40 million for the first time.

The company added 243,000 net mobile subscribers during the quarter, while its postpaid subscriber base increased by 284,000.

5G Boosts Investment Activity

The second quarter was also the period in which 5G services were launched in Türkiye. Turkcell allocated 23.2% of its revenues to investments during the first half of the year, reflecting the company’s focus on network infrastructure and next-generation connectivity.

Superbox also recorded a strong quarter, gaining 64,000 net subscribers, its strongest quarterly performance since 2020.

TL 10.2 Billion Net Profit in First Half

For the first six months of 2026, Turkcell’s total revenue reached approximately TL 145 billion, while net profit stood at TL 10.2 billion, up around 3.3% from the same period last year.

The results highlight Turkcell’s continued operational strength despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, with subscriber growth, 5G investments and high EBITDA margins supporting the company’s performance.
