The Tax Inspection Board (VDK) of Turkey has officially launched the e-Audit System as of today, according to a statement shared via the organization’s social media account.
Digital Transformation in Tax Auditing
The new system transitions tax audit processes to a fully digital environment. According to the announcement, the e-Audit System enables secure, fast, and accessible submission of documents and signing of reports electronically.
Secure and Efficient Document Management
Developed using domestic and national software technology, the system allows taxpayers to submit their electronic ledgers and documents securely online. Tax inspection reports can also be digitally signed, streamlining the entire process.
Reducing Costs and Increasing Efficiency
With the new system, legal responsibilities defined by tax legislation can now be fulfilled regardless of location. The e-Audit System is expected to reduce both time and procedural costs associated with tax compliance, enhance the use of computer-aided audit techniques, and promote the effective, economical, and efficient use of public resources.
