The first customer of the national aircraft TROY is from abroad

UCAKSAN signed an agreement with Defense & Strategic Ventures, Pakistan’s military and civilian product supplier, for the supply of 5+5 TROY T400 aircraft.

Training and general purpose aircraft TROY T400 is added to the aviation products Turkiye has recently exported.

According to the information received, UCAKSAN signed an agreement with Defense & Strategic Ventures (DSV), Pakistan’s military and civilian product supplier, for the supply of 5+5 TROY T400 aircraft.

With the deliveries to be made within the scope of the agreement, civil aircraft will be added to the aviation platforms recently exported from Turkiye.

T400 is in the upper class of the 2-seater T200, the first aircraft developed by UCAKSAN.

The aircraft, which has a carbon composite body, glass cockpit and strong aerodynamics, has a capacity of 4 people.

The aircraft can be used in pilot training, general aviation, agricultural purposes and observation missions.

T400 can operate at a maximum altitude of 3900 meters with a cruising speed of 180 kilometers per hour. The aircraft has a flight range of 1000 kilometers and a take-off weight of 1200 kilograms.

“We need to move much faster”

UCAKSAN Chief Executive Emre Balcı, in his statement to the AA correspondent, said that the 2 and 4-seater aircraft they produce in the field of civil aviation are the highest level aircraft in their class.

Balci said, “The order we received after long negotiations with Pakistan-based DSV is a source of pride for our country and us. Apart from this order, we are also in negotiations with other companies abroad. We will announce it as it is finalized. We need to move much faster from now on. We need to speed up our facility investments and start production. Our aim is to have a say in the field of civil aviation in the world.”
