The first step was taken for Karacadag OIZ, which will provide employment for approximately 10 thousand people in Diyarbakir and provide added value to the city’s industry.

According to the statement made by the Diyarbakir Governorate, 222 parcels in Karacadag Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ), which will be established on an area of 295 hectares on the Sanliurfa road, have been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, including 179 for enterprises and 43 for reinforcement areas.

Deputy Governor Omer Coskun, 7th Regional Director Murat Calik, Provincial Cadastre Director Cengiz Cetinkaya, Kayapinar Land Registry Manager Ersin Ide, Industry and Technology Provincial Director Esat Yesil and Karacadag OIZ Deputy Chairman Mehmet Besir Yilmaz and Board Member Ramazan Ozkilic attended the title deed delivery at the 7th Regional Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.

Parcel title deeds were delivered to Yesil, following the protocol signed between Ide and Yilmaz and Ozkilic.

Karacadag OIZ, which is evaluated within the 2020 investment program by the Ministry, will have a vocational and technical education area with the smallest 6 and 28 decares of industrial parcels, waste water treatment facility, parking lot, health facility, administrative and social areas and a pond.

Karacadag OIZ, will create an employment area of approximately 10 thousand people in cooperation with the Governorship Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate (YIKOB), Diyarbakir Metropolitan Municipality, Diyarbakir Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DTSO), and it will also provide added value to the industry of the city.
