Turkey’s Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek has launched an investor roadshow covering the United Kingdom and the United States, starting in London, where he is set to meet representatives of leading global institutional investment firms.
Şimşek is expected to attend 8–10 meetings per day during the visit. He will spend the first three days of the week in London holding discussions with investors. As part of the program, he will participate in the Turkey Investment Conference and, following the event, hold one-on-one meetings with senior executives, chief economists, and analysts from major global investment firms.
Strong investor interest in the conference—revived last year in London after a long hiatus—played a key role in the addition of a New York leg to this year’s program. During his London visit, Şimşek is also scheduled to meet representatives of international credit rating agencies.
New York Meetings to Follow
Following the London program, Minister Şimşek will begin his New York engagements on Thursday. In addition to continuing meetings with institutional investors, he will take part in both large-scale gatherings and smaller, targeted one-on-one meetings.
The investor meetings are expected to focus on assessments for 2025, discussions on priorities for 2026, Turkey’s structural reform agenda, and the investment opportunities the country offers. The roadshow in both London and New York is being accompanied by Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye Governor Fatih Karahan.
