
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has authorized banks to execute a dual-tranche Eurobond issuance, marking the first external borrowing decision of 2026.
Under the 2026 external financing program, the Ministry granted Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, BNP Paribas, Citi, Goldman Sachs, and Standard Chartered the mandate to issue U.S. dollar-denominated bonds with maturities of 7 and 12 years.
According to Bloomberg, initial yield guidance for the 7-year tranche is around 6.65%, while the 12-year tranche is expected to offer approximately 7.2%.
Turkey’s Treasury concluded 2025 with a total external borrowing of USD 13 billion.
