Turkish Airlines carried 60.5 million passengers in 10 months

Turkish Airlines carried 60.5 million passengers in the 10-month period of this year. The airline, which has 388 aircraft in its fleet, announced its traffic results to the Public Disclosure Platform.

Turkish Airlines (THY) air traffic data for October 2022 has been announced.

The company, which served 6.6 million passengers in October 2019, reached the same figure in October 2022.

In the said period, the passenger load factor was 85.2%, the international load factor was 85.1%, and the domestic load factor was 85.7%.

Supplied Seat Capacity increased to 18 billion

THY also increased its Seat Capacity (AKK) to 18 billion by increasing by 8% compared to the same period of 2019, which refers to the pre-epidemic period.

As of the end of October, the cargo-mail carried by THY, which has 388 aircraft in its fleet, reached 1.4 million tons with an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period of 2019.

1.4 million tons of cargo-mail was transported

According to THY’s 10-month data covering the January-October period of 2022, the number of passengers was announced as 60.5 million.

While the number of international-to-international transfer passengers was 18.8 million, the international passenger load factor was 79.6% and the domestic load factor was 86.5%.

In the said period, the total seat kilometer supplied was 168.9 billion. Cargo-mail carried amounted to 1.4 million tons.
