
Turkish Airlines (THY) carried a total of 7.3 million passengers in September, reaching 85.4% load factor.
Announcing the passenger and cargo traffic results in September, THY Press Office announced that the total seat capacity offered has increased by 15.9% compared to September 2019.
According to the information announced, the international load factor of THY, which carries a total of 7.3 million passengers, was 84.9% and the domestic load factor was 90.2%.
Cargo and mail volume carried in September increased by 7.6% compared to the same period of 2019 and reached 145 thousand tons.
According to the January-September period, the number of passengers carried was 53.9 million, while the total passenger load factor was 79.7%.
International passenger load factor was 79% and domestic load factor was 86.6%.
Total transported cargo and mail increased by 12.7% compared to the same period of 2019 and reached 1.3 million tons.
At the end of September, the number of aircraft in THY’s fleet was 390.
