
The total number of passengers of Turkish Airlines (THY), which was 5.2 million in February 2019, reached 4 million in the same period of 2022.
According to the statement made by THY to KAP, the passenger load factor was 68.5% in February 2022. Cargo-Mail carried, which was 113,618 tons in February 2019, reached 117,568 tons with an increase of 3.5% in the same period of 2022.
JANUARY-FEBRUARY PERIOD
The total number of passengers, which was 10.9 million in the January – February 2019 period, reached 7.9 million in the same period of 2022. Passenger load factor decreased by 12.4 points compared to the same period of 2019 and became 67.2%.
While the Total Seats Supplied Km (AKK) was 27.8 billion in the January – February 2019 period, it decreased by 10% to 25 billion in the same period of 2022. Cargo-Mail carried, which was 225,803 tons in the January – February 2019 period, increased by 5.3% to 237,751 tons in the same period of 2022. By the end of February 2022, the number of aircraft in THY’s fleet was 372.
