Turkish Airlines is fiercely proud of its nation’s heritage and culture and never misses an opportunity to promote everything that Türkiye has to offer. This week, the airline launched a new set of business class amenity kits that feature Türkiye’s unparalleled cultural treasures and are inspired by the nation’s six United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) heritage sites.
Promoting Türkiye through new amenity kits
On January 1, Turkish Airlines released details of its new series of premium amenity kits, now available to business class passengers on flights ranging from five to eight hours. Economy passengers have not been forgotten, as different versions will be introduced in mid-January for economy class flights lasting more than eight hours.
The new amenity kit collection, called the UNESCO Türkiye Series, is inspired by six outstanding UNESCO World Heritage sites in Türkiye, including Nemrut, Göbeklitepe, Cappadocia, Ephesus,Ani and Troy. It also includes four different ebru (Turkish Marbling) designs and three traditional carpet-rug motifs.
The kits, developed in collaboration with the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, highlight the airline’s vision to provide comfort above the clouds and showcase Türkiye’s historic and cultural values on a global stage.
A memorable Anatolian keepsake
As a leader in global aviation, Turkish Airlines aims to maintain its position with a sustainability-focused approach and a vision of preserving cultural values. Turkish Airlines Chief Operations Officer M. Akif Konar said that the airline is not only providing guests with a memorable flight experience but is also showcasing the nation’s rich cultural heritage to the world through the UNESCO Türkiye Series kits, adding:
“This collection is a tangible expression of our efforts to present Anatolia’s millennia-old history and art to our passengers in a contemporary way. We hope our guests will form a unique bond with Türkiye’s deep-rooted past through these sets.”
While practical for longer-haul flights, each kit is presented as a memorable travel keepsake that combines thousands of years of Anatolian history and artistic heritage with contemporary design elements. It contains hand and body lotion and lip balm formulated by the luxury fragrance brand Ex Nilhilo.
Around 80% of the materials used in items such as socks, eye masks, and toothbrushes are recycled materials and sustainable options like biodegradable cornstarch. Turkish is proud of its role as the nation’s flag carrier and remains committed to introducing the richness of Turkish culture to travelers around the globe while preserving and promoting Türkiye’s heritage in the skies.

Turkish is the world’s most connected airline
In December, Guinness World Records officially recognized Turkish Airlines (Turkish) as the winner of the “Most Countries Flown to by an Airline.” Based on Guinness World Records evaluation criteria, Turkish set the record with flights to 120 countries, reflecting only the active routes of the past 12 months. However, its network now spans 131 countries, including temporarily suspended routes.
With flights to so many international destinations, the new amenity kits effectively promote some of the most exciting destinations in Türkiye to a worldwide audience. Turkish has held the record of flying to the most countries since 2012, and this recognition highlights the strength of its network and its mission to connect people, cultures and destinations around the globe.
