Turkish Airlines signs declaration of intent for strategic partnership with German BVMW

A declaration of intent was signed between Turkish Airlines (THY) and the German Small and Medium Enterprises Association (BVMW) for a strategic partnership covering 2022-2024.

In the statement made by the THY Press Office, a declaration of intent was signed by THY and BVMW for a strategic partnership that will cover 2022-2024, within the scope of global strategic cooperation efforts.

Within the scope of the declaration signed by Ilker Ayci, Chairman of THY Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and Markus Jerger, Chairman of BVMW, member companies of the association will continue to operate their flights under the THY brand.

BVMW will continue to provide THY with a suitable platform for its operations.

With the renewed agreement, it is also aimed that the various advantages offered by THY’s Corporate Loyalty Program “Turkish Airlines Corporate Club” will continue to be preferred by German companies.

THY Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee, Ayci, whose views are included in the statement, stated that they will continue their strategic cooperation with the German SMEs Association between 2022 and 2024.

Noting that they aim to maximize their volume in the corporate segment on a global scale with the new agreement signed, Ayci said, “As the national flag carrier airline of our country, we will continue to bring our valuable guests from the business world together with the most countries in the world.”

BVMW President Jerger said: “We are happy to be in strategic cooperation with one of the world’s most important airlines. Turkish Airlines and the German Small and Medium Enterprises Association bring the world together with the best business opportunities.”

Since 2017, THY has been collaborating in various scopes with BVMW, which is a member of small and medium-sized companies in Germany, has more than 10 thousand SME organizations affiliated to it, and carries out an average of 2,000 events per year, and continues its strategic work.
