Turkish Airlines Technic Inc. signed a 10-year licensed maintenance agreement with Honeywell

Turkish Airlines (THY) Technic Inc. signed a 10-year licensed maintenance agreement with Honeywell for some aircraft’s ADIRU (Air Data Inertial Reference Units) components.

According to the statement made by the THY Press Office, THY Technic Inc., one of the largest and most competent service providers in the global aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul industry, continues to expand its services to commercial airplanes and business jets.

THY Technic Inc. signed a 10-year licensed maintenance agreement with Honeywell covering the ADIRU components of Boeing 737 MAX, 737 NG and 787 aircraft.

According to the agreement, Honeywell will supply parts to THY Technic Inc., and THY Technic Inc. will act as an Authorized Global Maintenance Center for Honeywell’s ADIRU components, providing maintenance and repair services to local and international customers.

With this agreement, which is in addition to the license agreements of THY Technic Inc. with Honeywell covering hundreds of Honeywell mechanical and avionic components such as APU, HMU, Boeing 737 MAX/NG APU Starter/Generator, THY Technic AS will serve its customers as an Authorized Maintenance Center for ADIRU components of Boeing 737 MAX, 737 NG and 787 aircraft.

Mikail Akbulut, General Manager of THY Technic Inc., commented in the statement, “This agreement will reinforce our long-standing partnership with Honeywell and enable us to meet the maintenance, repair and overhaul needs of ADIRU components of our customers who have Boeing 737 MAX/NG and 787 aircraft in their fleets.”

Stating that they will continue to provide quality and flawless service to their customers with their deep experience in component maintenance and repair and facilities equipped with the latest technology, Akbulut said, “I wish this strategic cooperation protocol to be beneficial for our company and Honeywell.”

Honeywell’s Turkiye, Israel and Central Asia President Uygar Doyuran also stated the following regarding the new agreement signed:

As Honeywell, we are happy to be the strategic partner of Turkish Technic in the region. We believe that this new agreement will further strengthen our cooperation.”

Honeywell Aerospace produces many hardware and software solutions, including engines, cockpit and cabin electronics parts, wireless connectivity systems and mechanical components for aircraft operating in civil aviation, space projects and the defense industry.
