The Turkish American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TACCI) and the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) convened a significant meeting at the Turkish House in New York, aimed at strengthening trade relations between Türkiye and the United States.
Present at the event were TACCI President Ali Kocak, CIANJ President Anthony Russo, and Türkiye’s Consul General in New York, Ambassador Ahmet Yazal, along with representatives from chambers of commerce, trade attaches, government official and business leaders.
Participants engaged in valuable discussions, fostering opportunities for exchange between the business community and public institutions.
During the meeting, both sides signed a memorandum of understanding to advance their partnership in the business sector. TACCI President Ali Kocak highlighted the importance of the agreement,referencing the long-standing relationship between the U.S. and Türkiye. He emphasized Türkiye’s strategic location, bridging the Middle East, Asia, and Europe and expressed optimism about further strengthening bilateral collaborations through new partnerships.
CIANJ President Anthony Russo also noted that the event served as a platform for global networking, describing international trade as “a language” that connects people across the world.
Russo underscored the importance of building trustworthy and lasting connections to foster successful partnerships.
