Turkish Company Signs Petrochemical, Gas, and Mining Deals with Venezuela

Venezuelan President Maduro Joins Ceremony as Agreements Mark a New Chapter in Bilateral Relations

In a significant development, reports confirm the signing of various agreements in the fields of petrochemicals, gas, and mining between Venezuela and a Turkish company. The signing ceremony, held at the Miraflores Palace in the capital city of Caracas, saw the presence of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Maduro, in a statement shared on X, expressed, “We are signing collaborative efforts and strategic projects between Turkiye and Venezuela to build a win-win partnership, construct a new world, and further unite our nations. These remarkable agreements in petrochemicals, gas, gold, and mining are respectful of nature. We are constructing a productive economy.”

According to local reports, the agreement includes provisions for the Turkish company to undertake gold and mining operations in the Aragua state in the southern part of the country.

This collaboration signifies a promising step forward in the economic ties between Turkiye and Venezuela, highlighting mutual benefits and opportunities for growth in key sectors.
