Turkish defense industry companies attended the “BSDA 2024 Fair” held in Romania from May 22-24.
The 9th International Black Sea Defense, Aviation, and Security (BSDA 2024) Fair, which runs for three days, is hosting official delegations from across Europe, particularly from the Black Sea region. This event serves as a crucial platform for networking, forming partnerships, sharing information, and exploring innovations and capabilities across all defense sectors. It features the latest technologies in land, sea, air defense, border security, space, and cyber security.
In 2022, the fair saw participation from over 400 companies from 33 countries and attracted more than 30,000 visitors. This year, prominent Turkish companies such as Aselsan, Roketsan, Nurol Makina, Otokar, and Karel are participating in BSDA 2024. Professor Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of the Defense Industry, who attended the fair, remarked:
“Following the first meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council at the Presidential Complex with Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, we are in Romania today for the 9th International Black Sea Defense, Aviation, and Security Fair (BSDA). Our key companies are here to showcase the engineering prowess of our defense industry. I hope that our participation in this fair, where we will deepen our strategic business partnerships and engage in numerous bilateral meetings, will be beneficial for both countries.”
At the fair, Turkish defense industry companies will present various platforms and systems, and explore cooperation opportunities with participants.
