Turkish defense industry will increase its market share in Europe

The Turkish defense industry shows up at MSPO 2022 with its new vehicles so that the armored vehicles exported to Europe will also be put into use in new countries in the region.

Turkiye takes place as the “Leader Country” at MSPO 2022, the largest military fair in Central and Eastern Europe, hosted by Kielce, Poland. Turkish companies participate in the fair under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and with the support of the Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters’ Association (SSI).

Nurol Makina also exhibited models of Ejder Yalcin and Yoruk 4×4 Pickup at the fair. Company officials gave information about the vehicles to senior military and civilian officials who visited the fair, especially in Europe.

Nurol Machine Strategic Marketing and Market Development Director Emre Akin said that as a company, they have participated in many fairs in Europe for many years, but they participated in the fair in Poland for the first time.

Emphasizing that Nurol Makina is a very competitive company in the international arena, Akin said:

“We are a company that carries the power and brand value of the Turkish defense industry in a very positive way. Due to the war we faced in Europe this year, we see that Eastern European countries are more willing to reach good products, especially in defense system supply, with fast and competitive prices. This is something that we welcome very well in terms of both our products and our organizational activities. As a matter of fact, our products such as Ejder Yalcin, Yoruk, Ilgaz, Ejder TOMA are currently in service with more than 1500 vehicles in 20 countries on 4 continents. We signed our first project from Europe a few years ago in Hungary. Here we continue by getting deeper and deeper. This fair environment in Poland also offers us a very valuable platform and opportunity to reach European users and decision makers. I can say that we will see a rapid increase in the number of vehicles of Nurol Makina in Europe in the coming years.”
