Turkish exporters willing to invest & manufacture in Tanzania

Turkish businesspeople visiting Tanzania, an African country on the coast of the Indian Ocean, announced that they will invest in different areas in this country.

According to the information obtained by the AA reporter, a delegation of Turkish business people visited the Tanzania Investment Center and held talks to increase economic relations between the two countries.

Making a statement after the visit, Pusula Foreign Trade Director Bestami Keceli said, “We will start producing the products we export to Tanzania by establishing a facility in this country.”

Keceli shared the information that there are investment opportunities in many areas from agricultural products to minerals, from animal husbandry to forestry in Tanzania.

Tanzania’s Ankara Ambassador, Elizabeth Kiondo, said that there are investment opportunities in Tanzania in the fields of baby and adult diaper production, textile and furniture, construction, agriculture and health materials.

The Tanzanian government has announced that they will provide corporate tax exemption support for up to 10 years to investors who want to invest in the country.

10 Turkish companies from Samsun attended the Tanzania visit.
