Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek Begins Investor Roadshow in London and New York

ANKARA, Jan. 12 — Turkey’s Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, has launched an investor outreach tour covering the United Kingdom and the United States, beginning in London. The visit is aimed at strengthening engagement with leading global institutional investors and promoting Turkey’s economic program.

According to the ministry’s schedule, Şimşek is expected to participate in eight to ten meetings per day during the first three days of the tour in London. He will attend the Turkey Investment Conference and hold one-on-one meetings with senior executives, chief economists, and analysts from major international investment firms.

Following the London leg of the trip, the minister is expected to continue discussions with investors in New York, where he will present updates on Turkey’s economic outlook, fiscal policies, and reform agenda.

The investor roadshow comes as the Turkish government seeks to maintain international investor confidence and attract foreign capital amid its ongoing economic stabilization and disinflation efforts.
