Burak Pehlivan, Chairman of the Board of the Turkey-Ukraine Business Association, announced that in 2024, Turkish investors opened the highest number of foreign-capital companies in Ukraine. Over the past three years, Turkish entrepreneurs have invested more than $300 million in Ukraine, making Turkey the leading source of foreign investment in the war-torn country in 2024.
According to data shared by Pehlivan, Turkish investors accounted for 13.1% of all foreign-capital companies established in Ukraine over the last three years, securing the top spot. Uzbek companies followed with 10.1%, while Poland ranked third with 7.1%. The United States came in fourth with 6.6%, followed by Kazakhstan with 5.6%, Germany and Azerbaijan with 4.5% each, Israel with 4.2%, and the United Kingdom with 3.5%.
This surge in Turkish investments highlights the growing economic ties between Turkey and Ukraine, even amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia.
